Okomfo Anokye Sword Site

The Okomfo Anokye Sword is an important historical and cultural symbol in Ghana, located at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi. Legend has it that the sword was planted in the ground by Okomfo Anokye, a powerful priest and co-founder of the Ashanti Kingdom, over 300 years ago. The sword is believed to hold mystical powers, and it is said that no one has been able to remove it from the ground since it was placed there.
