The Ghana Association of Restructuring and Insolvency Advisors (GARIA) is a professional body dedicated to advancing the fields of corporate restructuring, business recovery, and insolvency advisory in Ghana. As a member of INSOL International, the global organization for restructuring and insolvency professionals, GARIA plays a pivotal leadership role in shaping these practices locally and internationally. GARIA’s objectives include: - Encouraging the restructuring of distressed entities, including state-owned enterprises and private businesses. - Providing thought leadership on business turnarounds and insolvency matters. - Advocating for legal reforms to enhance effective business recovery and insolvency measures. - Creating a platform for practitioners to exchange ideas and best practices in business recovery and insolvency. - Promoting international cooperation on insolvency, business recovery, and related cross-border issues.
